I Didn’t Lose My Personality—I Got It Back
One thing I was honestly scared of when I got sober?
That I wouldn’t feel like me anymore.
Like somehow the fun, social, interesting version of me would disappear.
But sobriety taught me the opposite.
I didn’t lose my personality.
I got it back.
The real me.
The one that laughs hard, feels deeply, remembers things, and actually shows up.
Turns out I wasn’t losing myself.
I was buried under survival mode.
And getting sober gave me enough space to finally feel like me again.
